One of the many benefits of movement is that it increases oxygen and blood flow to the brain and heart. Movement is one of the best ways to get all children to engage with the material that is being taught to them. This is why in our classroom we move! Welcome to first grade in Ms. Ponce's class. Where all learners are welcome and everyone is guaranteed to learn and have fun doing it! I encourage flexible seating during certain times of the day and we are constantly switching gears in order to keep these little brains engaged. We are a diverse bunch and we are on our way to being lifelong learners. Thank you for your support!
