In an ever changing world it is important for students to have access to technology. There are a variety of apps for math, vocabulary, and reading that students can use for independent work. My students need an Apple iPad with case, access to 21st century technology in the classroom to ensure they are prepared for the future. We are teaching students to live in a world that is constantly changing. We are educating them for jobs that have not even been created yet. Providing them with opportunities to develop their skills using the most current technology will give them a jump start. Technology in the classroom ensures learning is interactive and progressive. Having access to a technology center for literacy and math games through technology will enable me to provide differentiated group learning opportunities. Kids love having choice in their learning modality. Using the technology center in our classroom will give kids a head start in developing their technology skills for the future.
