My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy. We are constantly in there each day choosing books to complete work, read independently, and share as read alouds. My students love getting the opportunity to spend time discovering new titles that will help to expand their imagination and learn new things. All of the books within the library have been chosen while keeping my students in mind. I believe that representation, inclusivity, and diversity are extremely important. I am constantly looking for new books that will promote those things. These new books titles will help to continue to expand our classroom library so that all of my students feel represented in the books that they are reading. Students will be able to choose books that they enjoy reading during their independent reading times. They will also be able to continue to choose books that interest them. My students have already shown such an interest in reading, and I believe that this project will help to enhance their love for reading, and expand their horizons.
