By receiving funding for this project, students will be able to produce visually pleasing writing projects and display them with pride. I want to help students reach their true potential by allowing them to grow and be able to create not only one page documents, but presentations, charts and graphs. These are the 21st century skills that students need to fully prepare them for that road to higher education and ultimately successful careers. I envision the class producing a school newsletter dedicated to opinion writing where our 5th graders can voice their opinions through writing on a variety of topics.
