Currently, we have a workable stage with no stage lighting for a proper performance. Our stage has three strips of spotlight fixtures (the ones that are used in kitchens or to light up a painting) and can only be dimmed as a strip. Therefore, having a well lit stage or creating color lights or having blackouts for a scene, is nearly impossible. I would love to have proper lighting for our first performance, and for many performances to come. Having proper lights and a lighting board will allow my actors and audience to experience the feel of a professional performance. I want to make the performance my students have at our school memorable. As an added benefit, our school choir, band, and general assemblies will make use of our equipment.
