One of my biggest goals in teaching is to foster a love of literature in my students. Most don't have books at home and while they do have access to a wonderful school library, I feel it is important for them to be surrounded by exciting books whenever possible. When I assign independent reading, I wish for my students to always have interesting and engaging books to choose from. Because my students read at a variety of levels, providing a wide variety of selections at different levels is very important to me. With this project, my students should never be able to say they can't find anything to read!
