In my US History classes I have a good number of students with extremely limited English language proficiency. These students are trying to both learn the essential US History content and learn how to understand, write, read, and speak English. These iPads will be used to help my students access readings and apps that help them learn both US History and the English language. The iPads are user-friendly and will allow my students to collaborate with each other and gain technology skills. If given these iPads I can promise with you that my students will grow so much in their knowledge of history and English!
