The Pickleball equipment will help enhance the movement based PE class that we strive to create. In today's society we continue to see a decline in the physical health of our young people due to lack of exercise. Our PE program strives to change the attitude of our scholars by making exercise and fitness fun and something they will enjoy for life. The Pickleball equipment will allow scholars to learn skills and play games that they can take with them well beyond their high school career. If they learn these skills, it could turn in to a college scholarship by them joining the tennis team and then becoming a college tennis player. With this equipment, our scholars will have the opportunity to participate in activities that will develop a passion for fitness, and could develop the love for a game that they can play for the rest of their lives. By making fitness fun, young people will be more inclined to continue in these activities in the future. Please consider this request as you choose.
