Right now, my students only have 3 working computers at their disposal. With 27 students, that’s nowhere near enough to go around. I try to make it equitable and rotate usage, but it’s impossible with Chromebooks that barely turn on and don’t work unless you keep them attached to the power source. The students are so eager to infuse their daily work with technology, and I can’t do that with the materials that I have. Their learning will come alive as they learn volume and mass through Zearn, and reading and phonics through MyOn and Starfall! Learning by doing rather than by seeing is always better! Having three new Chromebooks will make a huge difference in my students ability to learn.
