We severely lack funding for even the basics of a Social Studies classroom limiting our ability to rigorously and authentically learn as we have limited textbooks or social studies curriculum, and access to technology. With this document camera, I will be able to open up the worlds of History, Geography, Current Events, Government, Sociology and all the other Social Studies my students currently cannot access. Students will be able to seek out information the need for class, expand on their interests and teach each other about their new experiences. My students will look forward to the ability to make their learning in social studies relevant to the world we live in today! They will look forward to researching and creating through technology and gaining the skills necessary for today's technology driven world!

About my class
