The PreK - 5th grade students at my school will learn about ways to manage their feelings and positively deal with stress so they can succeed both academically and personally. During the past couple of years, many students have experienced death or deployment of a parent, bullying, moving to a new school, high levels of anxiety, entering the foster care system, and mental illness. As a school counselor, I know how important the social and emotional well being of my students is to their success in school and life.

About my class
