Being able to think critically and solve problems is a key ingredient to my students education. These skills are necessary in all areas of learning. By providing hands-on opportunities to learn and problem solve, students are able to develop a deeper understanding of these concepts. I plan to use Botley the Coding Robot as a tool to help students develop these skills. Using Botley the Coding Robot in our classroom will give my students the challenge they need. My students will work with a partner to help Botley work its way through mazes, follow if/then commands, and avoid running into objects. Students will be developing these important critical thinking and problem solving skills in a fun learning environment.
