These materials will allow me to individualize each students work load, allowing them the independence to grab and complete work. The rug will allow them the freedom to work either at their table or on the floor as they please- and the task boxes will allow for sensory breaks as needed throughout the day. Adding a rug, task boxes, and sight word journals will allow my students to gain independence and responsibility in their learning as well as allow for more areas for students to work. It allows them more space and ample time to complete their individual work and goals.
