Many of our students come from low income families. Many of our kids live in apartments and do not have an area to learn to play with balls and other exercise equipment. Sometimes I get kids who say they have never played with a ball until they came to school. Therefore sometimes we are teaching them for the first time how to play a simple game of "Don't Break Momma's Dishes" or wall ball and four square. Our students are a huge melting pot of many different cultures, but ,one thing they all have in common is they love to play.
