With a Chromebook, students can tap in to the power of the Internet—and because the devices include keyboards, they build essential keyboarding skills, required by the Common Core and many state standards, as they research, collaborate, learn, and create. The keyboard alone is a tremendous value as our students are now required to take their state tests on computers. I will be able to transform my classroom into a connected and collaborative learning center. Imagine! My first graders will be able to go on a virtual safari, or watch astronauts read books. They will be able to watch their favorite authors read books. The learning and the fun will have no limits!
