We use an online reading program that assists with reading comprehension and rewards points to students for every e-book they complete. The problem in our classroom is that with only 3 computers for 22 students - it is difficult for all students to reach their reading goals. By having tablets in the classroom it will allow ALL students to read as many e-books as possible and earn the necessary points to be successful with the online reading program. Most importantly, it will give the students a chance to just READ; something most do not have the opportunity to do at home.
