The materials that I am requesting for my students already have a place in my classroom. The materials will be used during station time or when I am working with a small group. We just need your help to have them be apart of our classroom! The donations to this project will help improve my students skills in literacy and in mathematics. The power pens give the students immediate feedback. I am hoping that each child will be able to have their own pen. My students will press the pen to the card to choose an answer, then the student hears the kid-friendly phrases for correct answers and redirection for incorrect answers. The first grade comprehension bundle presents texts and activities that are exciting for the children to read and complete. Having this bundle will ease my students into reading mindfully and boost comprehension. My students will be able to focus on academic materials at hand, and not have to worry about whether or not they have materials that will help them grow as learners.
