By helping to donate to this cause students will be able to experiment and test more fluidly as we will then have one camera for every two students. This helps reduce wasting instructional time and ensures every student gets the opportunity to use a DSLR/the resources in class and explore. EVERY student deserves a positive experience in class. Digital photography is more than just shooting photos with a cellphone. There are so many functions that a DSLR has that students can learn. It's just about technique of shooting, but also about learning how to use a camera. Not only will students have the ability to learn on a lower level professional camera they will get to fully use their own work/photos when making adjustments on photo-editing software. I want to continue to help provide students with creative and innovative experience. This project campaign will significantly add to the program and their scope of knowledge. They will be able to use the skills learned in Digital Photography in various facets of their lives as well as extend this knowledge into other technology classes such as video, web, graphic design and the fine arts. This is the biggest cost in a photography program. We want to continue to provide this program to our students. While I purchase most all other supplies out of pocket, it's not feasible for me to fund this particular project.
