I use multiple strategies daily to keep my students engaged. Students sit in groups of four. They have an island in the middle of their desk that contain manipulatives and supplies to work with. The dry erase boards will allow students to work through problems with out wasting paper, as we are a friendly recycling environmental school. The teacher easel will allow me to show multiple strategies the students share with the group as a whole. It will also save paper and be easier to share. We can work as a group to solve why problems are correct or incorrect.
