These materials are probably not some you see on most projects. My students have to mostly be taught one on one. My job is to help them retrain their brains to see objects/words like the “normal” kids do and to do so in the least restrictive environment. We use lots of markers, crayons, paper, and objects to code and learn letters and words so that when they see the letters and words they see them the way that they are intended. Dyslexia affects one out of every five students. That’s 20% of children in today’s schools. These kids just want to be able to read and write like their peers, and with your donation to my project, they CAN achieve it!
