Our school has a variety of activities that happen during and after school. The TV Production class learns how to script write, shoot and edit audio and video to create stories that highlight the positive roles our students play. We have several academic and sports teams that have achieved district recognition. Not everyone can attend all the events, but by having our ace production teams recording the activities more people can see how awesome our students are. We are requesting handheld wireless microphones and a compact stereo mixer. TV Production students must capture good audio and video to create meaningful stories that people want to watch. Audio is very important when making a video or multimedia presentation. No one will watch a video with poor sound. It is distracting. Good wireless microphones will allow the production teams to record clean audio. My students are young, but they should not be dismissed. When people watch their well-made videos they are surprised at the depth they bring to the subject matter. No one tells OUR story as well as we do.
