My students are learning how to make choices that will help benefit their learning experiences. Sitting in a chair for over 7 hours can be boring, and lead to behaviors or boredom. By having several opportunities within the classroom to chose different seating to help their creativity go to work, these students can really push their limits and get comfy while their develop their love for reading and writing! We have just begun our Reader's and Writer's workshops and sometimes we hit a wall when it comes to our expressions and our willingness to read and write. But what if we chose our own spots? Just like in the real world, we chose where we feel the most comfortable reading and writing. Please help my students feel that same way!
