Students within the MHS Social Studies will greatly benefit from all of the items I have selected. The maps are going to enrich their geographical knowledge of not only the United States but of the World. Geography and how it impacts history is an essential component of World and United States History. The color printer is going to allow the department to print out primary and secondary documents resources in color to aid in student analysis. The DVD player is going to assist in playing educational resources without a computer so that students may see places and historical figures brought to life outside of text-based resources. The green screen and tripod are going to assist in integrating technology into student presentations to prepare students for a career in the 21st century. The class sets of books are going to allow students to better understand all aspects of the subjects they are learning. The graphing board is going to aid in the teaching of graphing in Economics.
