About my class

I would like to create learning exploration centers for students to socialize, learn, and explore with one another. We will be using them during our Math and Literacy time for students to build foundational math skills and literacy skills, as well as socialization skills with one another. The geo boards will help students with fine motor skills as well as tap into their creativity as they will be using it to create different shapes and pictures. The foam dominoes will help students socialize and explore with numbers. They will be able to use them as a counting tool as well as a building tool to create and socialize with classmates. The Interlox manipulatives will help students to explore, be creative, and work together to build different objects. The pattern block pages will help students to recognize different shapes and colors as well as work together to complete the picture design. Students will feel a sense of accomplishment when they are able to build the picture using our pattern blocks. The dot markers will be used to engage students in identifying different numbers in math. They will also be used to give students the opportunity to be creative and create some fun dot art. The headphones will be used for our listening center. We have Raz-Kids on our computers and need individual headphones for students to listen to and read leveled reading books available online. The wikki sticks will be used to practice fine motor skills as well as identification of letters and high frequency words. Students will use them to build letters and high frequency words. All of these resources will help to engage my students in their learning!
