Students are entering a Sand Castle Competition. Their task is to use kinetic sand to design a sand castle containing at least five different geometric solids. They have to create this design on poster board and use the different volume formulas to calculate the total volume of sand they need to make their castles. Their design needs to be structurally sound. They will use their poster board designs to guide them, as they use the kinetic sand to create their sand castle! These materials will allow them to have a one-of-a-kind design that they use to create their own unique and personalized castle!
