Students at my school have the opportunity to follow a complete Engineering pathway. They begin by taking Concepts of Engineering and continue to Design & Problem Solving. In the next few years we will add more advanced Engineering classes. When students are learning about energy efficiency and alternative fuel sources, the Passive Solar Design kit will allow them to visualize the product. Donations to this project will give my students the materials they need to advance through the Engineering Career Pathway. Students will gain insight into the field of engineering and make a decision to pursue a degree in a STEM field. My students will no longer write down their ideas; they can build them!
