I teach students who have been diagnosed with learning disabilities. It is essential to provide students with resources that appeal to their visual, motor, and audio skills. Our classroom will be welcoming and educationally comfortable in order to optimize learning. The listening center devices are essential to students' audio skills that will strengthen at the listening center. Their ability to search and find the main idea, key words, pronunciation of unknown words, voice intonation, etc. will increase. Because I strive for students' independence in and outside the classroom, the laminating machine will allow visual aides to guide the way. Visual aides promote independence in all motor movements (using a stapler, organizing papers, etc).
