My class this year is truly a gem. I get to work and grow with an amazingly upbeat class of first graders. This group of firsties is a unique and kind hearted bunch of kiddos. They are wonderful to eachother and others in our school. They are a hilarious class with bright futures ahead of them. My class is very diverse, and many of them have had some trauma in their lives (much more than many adults I know). We have created a sense of community together by making a safe space for all. Each day we all learn something new, and make sure to celebrate our learning (big or small).
