Although most of our students possess some basic computer skills, these are not related to computer coding. Our school is currently a STEM magnet and we have implemented various coding courses. It is imperative that we embrace this curriculum for the sake of making our students viable in the digital world of the future. The robotic toys requested will help engage the students and invigorate the lessons that relate to the science of coding. The inquiring students will see first hand how an inanimate number and symbol that they are negotiating with will be played out with a robotic device that will move about and respond to commands. This will be a big step and an example of going from the theoretical to the practical in a fun way.
