The glue gun supplies will make a difference because they will allow my students to create large 3D scale models of their cities that highlight their solutions to their engineering challenge. Future City students design sustainable cities of the future that solve a specific engineering challenge. Our students to do what engineers do: evaluate, imagine, plan, build, and present solutions to specific challenges. Students will learn to build to scale and showcase their ideas using recycled materials. Future City students tackle relevant, real-world problems like sustainable food systems, multi-modal transportation networks, water runoff pollution prevention, age-friendly, and resilient cities.
