My students know but still reinforce how invaluably priceless and powerful reading is. Additionally, they know how influential the ability of reading is and how much it can impact their listening, writing, and speaking skills now, and for years to come. Because of this, my scholars have taken on the task of completing my 40 Book Challenge before the school year is over. Through various reading texts such as Forget Me and Percy Jackson and the Olympians, I am confident knowing that my scholars would be increasingly motivated to tackle the 40 Book Challenge because they'll have a larger variety of worlds to choose from. As they get closer to completing this challenge, it is my hope that my avid readers grow a deeper affection and appreciation for books, for reading, to the point where their lives are personally impacted for the brighter.
