A variety of lap desks will allow my class to work as needed in the classroom. These students do not like to sit in a chair and work. They spend a great deal of time draped over chairs or sitting on the floor under their tables to complete independent work. Surf lab desks and lap desks will be ideal for allowing these students to spread out and work in a comfortable position. These seating options will give my students the flexibility they need to excel in fourth grade. When students are able to make choices about their learning it helps them to take responsibility for their education and have pride in their accomplishments.
