These laptops will allow my students to practice skills we are covering in class, and it will also allow them the opportunity to receive differentiated instruction. These laptops will help increase understanding of more difficult concepts and also help fill in the knowledge deficits to facilitate increased state scores. My seventh grade classes are also part of a research study called ASSISTments that requires students to receive online assignments at least three days per week. Some of my students do not have internet access at home, so these laptops will enable ALL of my students to complete these assignments online.
