My students will benefit from the donated items in many ways. Simple supplies such as folders, paper, headphones and pencils will all be used for class projects, assignments and homework needs. Students need headphones to listen to testing and computer programs required for learning. Folders will be used to separate classwork, homework and projects. Paper will be used for classroom copies of required material. Snacks and water will help on days where students may be hungry or in need of something to drink to calm test anxiety or just as a reward for a job well done. Students have different needs but can flourish when their minds are at ease about basic necessities.
