I would love to be able to provide each of my students with their own copy of the book in order to teach through novel studies. In addition, by providing students with their own book I will provide students with opportunities to read on their own and study the book at their own pace. My students' reading comprehension will be enhanced through whole class novel studies. By providing each student with their own book my students will be engaged and will learn new reading standards and comprehension skills in context. This will encourage students to love to read. My underprivileged students will get the opportunity to explore literature that they may have never been exposed to.
