During center time, the students in my classroom love to go into the reading center to look through their favorite books, and they often come to me while I am working with a small group to ask for help reading a story or to ask me to read it to them. If I stop to do this, it will take time away from the group I am working with so I often, regrettably, have to tell them no. The LeapFrog learning systems will keep the students engaged and encourage them to touch letters and words to help build their reading confidence. They will be able to do this independently in a center without interrupting the intervention time of the other students.
