We use an array of educational websites and have a computer lab to explore them. We lack funds to purchase headphones for each student. Although, we request them on the school supply list at the beginning of the school year, we rarely receive them. Typically, the teacher is left to either purchase headphones for the classroom or try to manage a variety of computer sound levels. Both options require an ample amount patience from the teacher. As you can imagine, it can be a huge challenge for students to focus on their learning task while listening to their neighbors’ computer. This distraction is caused by their lack of accessibility to headphones. These headphones will allow my students to focus on their computer program and aid in their overall learning experience. Most importantly, the use of headphones will encourage my students to learn.
