We were recently gifted 20 iPads for our students use, however we do not have a secure method to store and charge the devices. The devices are being secured in an unlocked cabinet and they are having to be charged individually as needed using a power strip. Currently we are unable to take advantage of the full potential of these devices due to storage and charging issues. Our students are eager to have access to these devices on a regular basis and with a lock and charge cart we can more easily move the devices from location to location in a secure and safe manner while maintaining their charge. Having these devices secured and ready to use on a daily basis will have a tremendous impact on our students performance in their classes. Technology is an innovative teaching tool and this is especially true for Deaf students.
