Since school has started, they have asked me to print flyers for their clubs, class work that's on their laptop , or even important papers they need for other classes. Overall, the color printer turns ordinary assignments into fun, creative learning opportunities that make the classroom more dynamic and inspiring. I have noticed that since having the printer, my students are actually excited when asked to use the printer.","fullyFundedDate":1745508356928,"projectUrl":"project/capturing-student-work-in-color/9261893/","projectTitle":"Capturing Student Work in Color","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Yancy","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8699391_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1693116447849","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8699391"},{"teacherId":8699391,"projectId":9186846,"letterContent":"with the help of your donations I am able to make conversations with all my students even those who are quite. Your support helped us set up everything we needed to give her a safe, happy, and enriching home in our classroom. From hay, food, bedding, and treats to toys and a sturdy hutch, your donations provided all the essentials to get us started. The hutch, in particular, has been a game changer—it allows me to safely bring Bailey home on weekends and holidays, ensuring she gets consistent care and attention.\r\n\r\nWhen Bailey first arrived, students were absolutely delighted. Their faces lit up as they watched her explore her new space, hop through tunnels, and nibble on her treats. They immediately began asking questions, brainstorming names (Bailey was a class vote!), and volunteering to help take care of her. This experience has already deepened their sense of responsibility and brought a calm, comforting presence to our classroom. Bailey has become a part of our daily routine, and the students are learning so much through observing her behavior and interacting with her respectfully.\r\n\r\nYour generosity helped us create a warm and welcoming environment not only for Bailey but for every student who walks into our room. Your contributions allowed us to purchase essential materials including bedding, food, enrichment toys, and cleaning supplies. These resources have made a huge difference—not only in Bailey's comfort and wellbeing but also in our classroom environment. Students have taken an active role in Bailey's daily care, rotating responsibilities like feeding, cage cleaning, and playtime supervision. These tasks have helped students develop a sense of responsibility, empathy, and routine. One of our favorite moments was when we introduced Bailey's new castle and chew toys—students were thrilled to see Bailey hop right in and start exploring!\r\n\r\nBailey has quickly become a beloved part of our classroom community. When the supplies arrived, students were buzzing with excitement, carefully unpacking each item and proudly setting up Bailey's space. They've even begun creating observation journals, noting Bailey's habits, preferences, and behaviors. This has become a meaningful extension of our science curriculum, allowing us to tie in lessons on animal care, habitats, and behavior. We're currently working on a mini-research project where students present their findings about rabbit adaptations and compare Bailey's behaviors to what they've learned.\r\n\r\nThanks to you, our classroom feels more connected, engaged, and joyful.
