Engaging activities in which my students can explore and experiment are key to their learning. This group thrives on their inquisitiveness. However, materials to meet those needs are not often found in the homes of my students. As part of our site’s commitment to the “whole child”, each teacher offers enrichment classes in which students can choose a class that suits their interests. I tend to lean toward science and technology as I find there is very high need and interest. I would like to provide for the students a classroom set of Snap Curcuits Jr. electronic kits. I think Snap Circuits will be a big step in meeting that need. These kits will give the children an exciting, hands-on introduction to electronics. They will be using real circuit components that snap together to create working electronic circuits and devices. I fully believe this will provide an entertaining, concrete education on how electronics work. Are you with me? Let’s Snap to It!
