We currently do not have working technology for our Yearbook or English classes. A computer would greatly improve the ability of my students to have access to the Yearbook site, upload photos and work on their pages. The students would also benefit from the wireless mouse as the mouse pads failed on the old computers, and it is easier to use for the Yearbook site. It is also a universal tool for any future computer we receive. My English classes would also benefit as they will be able to complete research in class and type their papers as most students do not have access to a computer at home. "A picture is a poem without words" - Horace. The canvases and paintbrushes will allow my students to express themselves creatively. It also puts an emphasis on content which helps students understand quality as a key value. Art allows my students to connect with our academic content by engaging student interest and building problem solving skills.
