My striving readers work extremely hard to meet their curriculum and classroom requirements. However, because they are often lack background and vocabulary knowledge, they struggle to comprehend their texts and keep up with assignments. With direct access to iPads, my students will be able to look up vocabulary words, research content, view videos for background knowledge, type assignments, take pictures, document learning progress, and practice various other reading skills. I hope to help my students not only master their reading skills, but also understand how technology can be used as a tool for adding to current knowledge and gaining new insight into our world.

About my class
