Students in my school come from a very low income area. Many of my students are not exposed to technology outside of the classroom. Having access to Kindle Fires will help reinforce classroom skills as well as help students become more independent learners. These fires will not only benefit my current students, but will continue to benefit future students. I teach some of the best kids in Mississippi, and I want to give them every opportunity to succeed. We all know that this world has moved forward with technology in a big way and it is important for our "future" to have access to these tools in order to better compete the older they get!
