In PE, students participate in weekly mile runs, weekly fitness activities and much more. All of these activities include clocks/timers. Communication is a huge component of learning. These timers will give visual learners, language learners, and others students a more accessible manner of tracking their progress during class. The vision for our students is to be able to access cross-curricular skills (math/reading) while reaching personal fitness goals in real time. This timer will make it more accessible to all students, specifically language learners, to be able to track their progress and make adjustments to their performance(s) as needed. Using this tool could positively and directly affect assessment results.
