The use of technology is a daily acitivity in general education classrooms. Using a station mode in my resource room allows students to work indepedenlty while I work with smaller groups. I would like to add a computer station to this rotation. Awesome applications exist that allow students to keep a digital porfolio of their work. Students complete online assignments, read and record themselves, rate their reading, share with teacher and even share with parents. My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are using techonolgy. I have seen how technology excites the reluctant learner and these computers will aid in seeing more growth in my students.
