Design & Build Engineering Centers, Marble Run and Playstix will help my students make synaptic connections in their brains by finding multiple solutions to problems. These items allow student the freedom to learn using different learning styles that meet each of their needs. Learning to read sounds like a big feat when you are five years old; however, when you can involve hands-on activities, learning becomes interactive and much more productive. Breaking down the story elements and having the students create solutions for the problems makes the stories come alive! With your help, I hope to increase literacy for each of my students with the Fairy Tale STEM Centers. They love hearing stories and learning about authors. Having the chance to become part of the story will increase their comprehension and their overall "buy in."
