The material I choose for my students will be utilized in our workstations. Workstations are centers that are fun but are also used for learning. I have so many students on different academic levels. The material will help with differentiated activities. The students love hands-on activities. Pattern Cards for Magnetic Designer, Sequencing Numbers 1-10 Puzzles - Set of 3, Unlock It! Number Match are chosen are focuses on math. Find the Letter Activity Center, Alphabet Magnetic Activity Tin, Pattern Cards for Magnetic Designer will help with language, alphabet and sound recognition and development. Having hands-on materials is very important for development in student achievement. Many times the students are allowed to choose their own activity which makes their learning experience very engaging. The material I choose will grasp their attention and minds as it will stimulate them to progress and learn more. These manipulatives will be used for social studies workstations during small group, whole group and students working independently. "In the City Logic puzzle", "A View from Around the World" are chosen to help students that are not exposed to many common day experiences. I selected many science activities such as "Where Do I live Animal Match","Shake and Reveal Science Card, Touch and Feel Mystery Capsules", What's that Sound?Mystery Capsules","How Long Is It? Measurement Center"," Life Science File Folder Games"," Insects & Spiders Science Viewer" will be used to introduce and enhance science and math skills. The Listening Center Headphones will be used for our chromebooks that we are fortunate to have. The headphones will help the students be more focused on the given or chosen activity.I always try every avenue to reach my children interest and desire to learn. The material requested will help me with our academic goals for each and every child.
