Feeding the chickens, taking care of them, and making sure they have enough water and clean bowls is a very big responsibility. Our students are learning to do all of these tasks, but right now it is difficult because we do not have a set up that makes caring for the chickens easy. We need an outdoor storage shed to keep all of our materials such as shovels, mulch we are cultivating, extra food and water bowls, etc. more organized. We also need the storage shed to keep the food for our chickens safe for them and away from other outdoor critters. The need for an outdoor sink is imperative. Right now we have to take water bowls, and other cleaning supplies into our school building and use the sinks that all the other students use. This is not in any way ideal. The outdoor sink would be a great resource to help us maintain cleanliness in our space, and also in our school building.
