My students will benefit from having 4 Chromebooks in the classroom by learning the computer skills necessary in 21st century education. Technology is becoming an essential part in education. These Chromebooks will provide another opportunity for my students to be engaged in their learning. Students will be able to work collaboratively on the Chromebooks in small groups on educational websites and apps. I want to use computer programs that will add additional support to the reading and math curriculums in place. I also want to introduce coding to my first graders. We are preparing our students for future jobs that might not exist yet and computer coding plays a huge role in that. I want my students to be prepared for the future so that they can be successful. Technology is growing in education and I want to make sure my students get the opportunity to be a part of this movement.
