As a new teacher, the resources in my classroom are very limited. An autistic student, like every other student, needs the accessibility to various learning tools. A classroom filled with various resources gives the students the option to transition from one activity to the next and make learning more approachable. My students will greatly benefit from such materials because these materials will make learning fun and engaging. The materials stated in this project are intended to make the classroom environment more inviting. For example, the sand/water table will give my students the ability to develop their fine motor skills. Moreover, my students struggle sitting on the carpet during circle time. The cube chairs will allow my students to focus during circle time/read aloud.. Finally, the storage cubbie will give our classroom a place to store educational toys/activities that we currently lack. Thank you in advance!
